Location

Charlton is a small village 3 miles from Malmesbury. It is essentially an estate owned  village, as the majority of the properties are owned by the Charlton Park Estate.  We are 7.7  miles North from junction 17 on the M4. We are easily accessible from London, Bristol, Bath, Birmingham and Cheltenham.

Around the Area

Our local town, Malmesbury, is well worth a visit with its wonderful Abbey and renowned Abbey Gardens owned by the famous "Naked Gardeners".  There are a constant stream of local events on offer including Badminton Horse Trials, WOMAD, The Westonbirt Arboretum, Highgrove and The Cotswold Waterparks. There are numerous excellent golf courses around the area and there is ample good walking to be had on the Cotswold way and The Ridgeway. The Stroud valleys offer more challenging walks with more scenic views.
